As you all may have noticed my posts about my turbo build have stopped and not much new has been posted for a while. The bad news is that the troubled economy has finally hit my wallet and right now I have to concentrate on this before any other major work is done on my engine. I will try to do my best to post some minor things I do to my car or engine but nothing major till get some things straightened out.  1993 Honda Civic Blog is here to stay just might be a bit quiet for a while.

Thanks for the useful info. It’s so interesting

  3. I’m not giving up on the complete build, just need to get some other things straight first, don’t worry that site will keep going just might not be updated as often.

So i just bought a 93 honda civic dx and had a rod go through the side. im needing a new engine and dont wanna buy the same one, what other engines are compatible with this car. im new to tuners just needin to know a bit more. i have a carbon fiber hood, 17” rims with 3” profile flowmaster, k&n air filter. need some help with the engine. email me.

  5. The easiest swap is a Si engine the D16Z6 which has 25hp more then the one you have in there with the addition of VTEC. it’s pretty much a straight swap just need the ECU. but as far as engine swap you can swap almost any honda engine in there it all depends how mechanically inclined you are and how much you want to spend. I suggestion would be to swap in the D16 and slap on a turbo and you got a great little rocket. the B16 are nice but expensive swap.
